MODERN R&D FACILITY IN THE HEART OF MARLOW

The project began with the conversion of two empty premises in Marlow (about 4,000 m2) into a Modern R&D facility for a new product for an electric car manufacturer.

The primary requirements for the workshop area were to create a heating system for the workshop based on an energy-efficient RAZOR gas heating system solution, as well as to develop the power distribution network into a workshop suited for the industrial machinery included in the project. In addition, the controlled lighting system was installed using integration PHILIPS PRO-SERIES. Designed and installed Local exhaust ventilation (LEV) to reduce exposures to dust, mist, fume, vapour or gas in the workshop.

Restroom renovations and the construction of additionally accessible lavatories were completed.

Along with the major MEP works, a specially equipped server room with controlled air temperature was completed on the ground floor, epoxy resin flooring was installed in the workshop area for abrasion and chemical resistance as well as safety reasons, and shattered gates were installed between two units to separate two different production processes.

The installation of all industrial cranes and power charges followed.

Services provided:

Office fitout.

The offices on the first floor were designed to be simple and functional. The installation of A/C and a ventilation system allowed for the creation of airflow in all office areas, and the use of commercial carpet allowed for excellent sound and temperature isolation. A raised floor system was implemented in all workplaces, allowing for the comfortable maintenance of all cables and utility systems without compromising floor space. As a result, the area became more accessible, walkable, and visually appealing.

The work was completed by choosing the appropriate modern office furniture based on the desired design to give employees a comfortable working environment.

Commercial kitchen and cafeteria area.

The primary goal of this project was to build a new commercial kitchen with a cafeteria on the ground floor and to expand the meeting rooms above on the first floor.

Work began with the design of a new kitchen layout, accompanied by significant MEP work to ensure the correct running of kitchen equipment. Alongside that, our skilled team selected and installed a fully working commercial kitchen equipped with a modern dish and glass cleaning system customised to the chef's needs.
